Pastor Darius Todd

Pastor Darius D. Todd was born to DeLeon and Gail Todd in Wichita Falls, Texas.  The family lived in various locations including Turkey, Louisiana, Illinois, and Texas as his father was a member of the United States Air Force.  The Todd family was very involved in ministry from his youngest memories.  He learned the ministry of servanthood and sacrifice for the name of Jesus during these formative years. 

Darius attended Southwest Texas State University (SWTSU) studying Computer Information Systems and went on to have a very successful career in all aspects of service and management receiving various awards and retiring as an IT Director in July 2021.

In 1994 Darius began attending the Abundant Life Christian Church under the leadership of its founder, Pastor Paul E. Buntyn.  He fully dedicated his life to the Lord, met and married his wife, Jacqueline Todd and began to work in diligently in ministry, serving as an armor bearer, multimedia director, musician, and Minister of Music.

He was ordained a Deacon in 1997 and an Elder in 2006.  He grew in knowledge and experience as a minister of the Gospel and in service to the Lord’s flock.  He apprehended his call to Pastor and worked under Pastor Buntyn as God’s plan was revealed.  He transitioned to the Pastorate on April 19, 2020.  On May 29, 2021, he was officially installed as the Lead Pastor of the Abundant Life Christian Church by Pastor Buntyn, Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, Covenant Fellowship International and a host of notable officiants including Darius’ childhood Pastor, Bishop David M. Copeland.

Pastor Todd has a passion for winning the lost, healing the broken-hearted, equipping people for purpose and ministry to the community.
